The Beeville Independent School District Board of Trustees is seeking an exceptional educational leader to serve as the district’s next Superintendent of Schools.
Located in South Texas, Beeville ISD serves approximately 3,000 students through the Beeville Early Childhood Center, Beeville Elementary School, Moreno Middle School, Barnhart Academy, and A.C. Jones High School. The district is currently implementing significant facility improvements associated with the successful 2024 bond program, including the construction of a new elementary school and other districtwide improvements.
The Board seeks a student-centered leader who possesses strong communication skills, a commitment to academic excellence, financial stewardship experience, and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and community stakeholders.
The successful candidate will demonstrate proven leadership in public education, strategic planning, organizational improvement, and community engagement. The Board is seeking a visible, approachable, and collaborative leader who can continue moving the district forward while building trust and maintaining a relentless focus on student achievement and student attendance.
The Board is particularly interested in a leader who has a demonstrated record of improving academic outcomes, increasing student engagement and attendance, and implementing innovative programs and initiatives that prepare students for success in college, careers, military service, and life. The ideal candidate will embrace innovation, inspire excellence, and position Beeville ISD to be highly competitive throughout South Texas and recognized as a district of choice across the State of Texas.
The next superintendent should possess the vision and leadership necessary to successfully oversee major construction and bond-funded projects, work collaboratively with district staff, and maintain a strong and visible presence throughout the community. The Board seeks a leader who will actively engage with students, employees, parents, business leaders, and community organizations while building a culture of high expectations, accountability, and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will build upon the district’s strengths while creating new opportunities that elevate student performance, expand educational options, and ensure that every student is prepared for a successful future.
Salary will be competitive and negotiable based upon qualifications and experience.

Required Qualifications
• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Valid Texas Superintendent Certificate or the ability to obtain a Texas Superintendent Certificate prior to employment
• Successful executive-level leadership experience in public education
• Demonstrated experience in instructional leadership, personnel management, financial stewardship, and organizational leadership
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with school boards, district staff, parents, and community stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
• Earned doctorate degree from an accredited college or university
• Experience serving as a Superintendent of Schools and/or Interim Superintendent
• Experience serving as a Deputy Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Chief Academic Officer, Chief Operations Officer, or comparable executive-level educational leader
• Experience leading school improvement efforts, increasing student achievement, and improving student attendance
• Experience overseeing construction projects, bond-funded initiatives, and long-range facilities planning
• Experience working effectively with diverse communities and building strong community partnerships
